The officer speaks the characters and reviews the result. Voice is an input alternative, never automatic confirmation.

What a manager should clarify before deployment

What is an electronic traffic ticketing system?

It is a system used by an officer to record a traffic violation notice on a portable device. It organizes the required fields, may collect images and location data, and transmits the record to the environment defined by the traffic authority.

Is Areatec's Electronic Ticketing system approved by SENATRAN?

Yes. SENATRAN Ordinance 984/2023 approves for four years the Multas eBooklet Version 2.1.0-A software developed by Areatec. The Ministry of Transport's official registry states a term from January 19, 2024 to January 18, 2028.

Does the system work when connectivity is lost?

Yes. SENATRAN Ordinance 997/2022 requires online and offline completion and storage of notices until transmission to the authority. The deployment defines synchronization, contingency, equipment and integrations for that workflow.

Does artificial intelligence choose the violation classification?

No. Aretron may assist with plate reading, field completion and consistency checks, depending on the contracted scope. Observation of the facts, classification, review and confirmation remain the responsibility of the officer and the competent authority.

Does electronic ticketing automatically eliminate paper?

It enables the paper pad and pen to be replaced in the workflow approved by the authority. The transition requires configuration, equipment, integration, training, contingency rules and the other procedures defined by the responsible authority.

Can it integrate with traffic-authority systems?

Yes, when the systems involved provide compatible interfaces and contracts. Integration design should define data, validations, authentication, error handling, contingencies and responsibilities before deployment.

How long does deployment take?

The timeline is defined after a technical assessment. The number of officers, devices, integrations, local rules, training, internal approvals and acceptance criteria all affect the schedule. The project proposal should document these dependencies.

How can a plate be entered in the field?

The configuration may provide OCR capture, a field keyboard and voice. Officers may speak the seven characters, use the radiotelephony spelling alphabet — Alfa, Bravo, Charlie — or combine both forms. Every reading must be reviewed before proceeding.

Which authentication methods can be adopted?

A project may combine AreaFace, password, graphical pattern and multi-factor authentication, including two-step verification when required by Olho Vivo Parking or the authority's policy. The rule depends on risk, device and user profile.

What do 1:1 face verification and 1:N search mean?

In 1:1 verification, a capture is compared with the reference for a claimed identity. In 1:N search, it is compared with an authorized set to generate candidates. The design must address purpose, legal basis, presentation-attack protection and human review; citing NIST or ISO does not imply certification.

Can the device be managed together with the system?

Yes, when device management is part of the project. Inventory, policies, dedicated mode, app distribution, updates, lock and remote wipe may be coordinated within the same operational design, with permissions and an administration trail.

Does the system also cover other field routines?

Yes. Depending on scope, the platform may support vehicle removal, traffic accident reports, general service reports, CRDO, agreement terms and vehicle checklists. Each module keeps its own procedure, permissions and integrations.
