Can I use leftover credit in another space or on another day?

It depends on the balance and local rules. Learn the difference between prepaid funds, an active parking session and returned unused time.

It depends on what you mean by credit. Prepaid funds that have not been used may remain in the wallet; time from a parking session that has already started is tied to the conditions of that purchase. Some cities also return unused minutes as a bonus, but only where local rules and system settings provide that feature.

What is the difference between balance and a parking session?

The system keeps separate records:

Record What generally happens
Prepaid balance Remains available until used under the wallet and operation rules
Active parking session Is tied to the plate, zone and selected period
Minute bonus (U.E.) May result from a return of unused time where the city offers it

Adding R$ 20 to a balance does not activate R$ 20 of parking. A session starts only after the driver selects the plate, location and duration and confirms the purchase.

Can I move to another space during an active session?

That depends on the rule shown on the street sign. Some operations validate the session across a zone or block face; others tie it to a specific bay or sector. Moving the car does not restart the clock or extend the maximum stay.

Does unused time return to the wallet?

Only where the municipality has adopted proportional charging or time return. The remaining period may then come back as a Unit of Parking, a minute bonus kept separate from cash balance. Minimum use, validity, plate linkage and the return procedure vary locally.

Can I take the balance to another city?

Network wallets such as Digipare may keep a unified balance across cities that use the same platform and accept that payment method. This does not make activation universal: the destination city must participate in the network, accept the channel and apply the balance under its own rules.

The same caution applies to prepaid cards. Read What is the Zycard prepaid card?.

What should I check before parking again?

  1. whether the wallet shows cash balance or a minute bonus;
  2. which city and plate may use it;
  3. whether an expiry date or channel restriction applies;
  4. whether the new session was confirmed for the correct location.

Do not rely only on the value shown in the wallet. Authorization comes from a new valid parking session under the rules of that space.
