Zycard is a prepaid option for loading credit and paying for regulated street parking through enabled channels on the Digipare network. Drivers add funds before parking and use that balance when they need to buy time for a vehicle plate. Card acceptance, reload locations and conditions of use depend on the operation contracted by each city.
How does Zycard work?
The card provides access to a prepaid balance. The usual process has four steps:
- The driver obtains or reloads Zycard through an authorized channel in the city.
- When parking, the driver enters the plate, zone and desired duration.
- The sales channel deducts the amount corresponding to the purchased time.
- The session is recorded in the system and a transaction receipt is issued.
Zycard does not change the maximum stay, rate or charging hours. These conditions remain subject to each city's regulations and street signs.
Where can the card be used?
Depending on the local setup, Zycard may be accepted in Digipare, integrated parking meters, self-service terminals or authorized points of sale. Not every operation offers every channel. Before relying on the card, check the regulatory sign, the parking authority's official channel or Areatec's My City page.
Can the balance be used in another city?
Do not assume that the balance is universal. Using the same account or balance in another city depends on how the operations are integrated, the type of credit and local acceptance of Zycard. A session must also follow the local rate, zone, maximum stay, space type and enabled payment methods. Check these conditions through the city's official channel before parking.
Are Zycard, a parking session and bonus time the same thing?
No. They are separate records:

How can I avoid an activation error?
Before confirming, check the plate, city, zone and selected duration. Keep the receipt and confirm that the session is valid. If Zycard is not accepted in that operation, use an official method shown on the signs, such as PIX, a bank card, a parking meter or an authorized point of sale, when available.
