Multi-app platform and OCR enforcement in Montes Claros

In addition to price competition and qualification, MCTrans Electronic Auction 27/2025 required a high-level proof of concept. On September 9, 2025, every test was completed and the solution was approved without reservations. With its technical performance demonstrated, Areatec won the lot.

The platform centralizes rules, activations and validation of tickets issued through accredited apps and physical points of sale. It also organizes reconciliation and financial flows across the channels included in the project. The same environment integrates with the electronic ticket book used by officers and the onboard OCR of Olho Vivo Patrol.

Montes Claros adopted a non-exclusive multi-app operation with four accredited apps and service through physical points of sale. Instead of depending on one channel, drivers can choose their preferred app. This competition makes experience, availability and support directly comparable, while physical points preserve an alternative for people who do not use an app.

Olho Vivo Parking organizes rules, tickets and reconciliation; Olho Vivo Patrol performs mobile plate reading; Olho Vivo City centralizes the operational view; and AreaChain preserves the integrity and sequence of selected events. Integrated with the electronic ticket book, these systems support regulation, enforcement and audit without replacing MCTrans supervision and decisions.
